ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Alicia and I am a recent graduate of Claremont McKenna College, a liberal arts college in Claremont, California, which lies on the outskirts of Los Angeles. I graduated with a dual degree in psychology and biology and love the interdisciplinary nature of the two and how well they go together, body and mind. I do what I can to blend my passions together into projects and am always seeking for ways to do more-- my honors thesis, for example, was on teaching autistic children the leisure skill of photography and post-graduation I was awarded the Davis Projects for Peace fellowship to teach a therapeutic photography program to teenagers at a group home in Pomona

I was born in Los Angeles and raised in Taiwan while attending an American school, which over the years has given me a deep appreciation and understanding of diverse cultures, which I often try to incorporate into what I capture. I also specialize in capturing a wide array of subjects, ranging from portraiture to sports to events to weddings (which you can see in my portfolio!).

When not taking pictures, you can probably find me running, hiking, or playing basketball. Or lying around reading books about mental health or watching Frasier and the Dodgers. It's a fine balance.
